Safety is our number one priority. Drumclip has been tested for safety and functionality by TÜV Rheinland according to DIN EN 12642, Annex B for load securing guidelines DIN EN 12195-1. Thanks to the ISTA-3 certification, the Drumclip is also tested for pallet stability.

Red Drumclip with a combination of stretch film

From the graph above, it can be seen that only the condition of DIN EN 12195-1 certification is met with this combination. They must be used on trucks with a load capacity of 3500kg and more.

1) Place the four barrels on the wooden pallet. Wrap the drums with a pallet wrapping machine with stretch film. Provide at least 8 wraps of foil around the drums and pallet. Use a film at least 28 my thick and 500 mm wide.

2) Place the pallets with drums (using a forklift) on the trailer in two rows. Place the pallets on non-slip mats with a minimum friction resistance of 0.6u.

3) On each side of the trailer, place a Drumclip over the edges of the two drums that are on the same pallet. For a double row of barrels, use a tension strap with a minimum StF value of 350 DaN. Make sure the strap is not twisted.

4) Then attach the strap hooks to the anchor point on the vehicle. Use an ergo ratchet and lashing strap (50mm LC=2500 daN) to secure pallets with drums to the vehicle. Insert the strap into the ergo ratchet and tighten by hand with a force of SHF daN (50 kilograms). The strap should be at a 90 degree angle to the direction of travel and attached to the vehicle in line with the Drumclips.

Do steps 3, 4, and 5 for each row of pallets and drums.

Red Drumclip with tie straps

From the graph above, it can be seen that only the condition of DIN EN 12195-1 certification is met with this combination. They must be used on trucks with a load capacity of 3500kg and more.

Green Drumclip with tie straps

From the graph above, it can be seen that the ISTA 3E condition and the DIN EN 12195-1 certification are met with this combination. However, pay attention to the type of tape used. They must be used on trucks with a load capacity of 3500kg and more.

1) Place the four barrels on the wooden pallet. Place the Drumclip clips against each other between the two barrels with the wide side facing out. Use the two tapes mentioned in the manual, or ask about the specification at info@sopack.cz. One tape is horizontally stretched by barrels in the middle. The other tape is stretched vertically over the two Drumclips of the drum and under the pallet. Both straps should be tensioned to 2500 N. Do this for each pallet of drums to be transported.

ATTENTION!!! There are differences in the tapes used (according to the manufacturer) and the subsequent securing method. Always read the manual or consult the Sopack s.r.o. team. to info@sopack.cz
